1. Deploying HApp support code to your Standard ERP server

First thing’s first: we need to add some HAL code to your server that is necessary for HApp to be able to connect to it. This can be done by us or by your supporting HansaWorld partner. Contact us and let’s make the arrangements that are appropriate for your situation! After the code is deployed, you will need to perform an export/import.

2. Configure Burti REST API access

This can be as simple as setting up HTTPS access to your Standard ERP server and setting an API authorisation token in the Burti - JSON API module’s “API settings” setting, but can get more complicated, depending on your existing infrastructure, firewalls and security policies. The bottom line is - the devices using HApp will need some way to connect to your Standard ERP server’s HTTPS port to be able to talk to it.

When you have this set up, let us know the access parameters and we’ll set up your server’s information in HApp and provide you with your HApp Server ID.

3. Configure HApp users

You will need to define which of your existing SERP users will use HApp to access your server. These users are defined in the HApp Users setting in System module. The users can then set their HApp PIN using the Maintenance Set HApp PIN in the Local Settings module.

4. Install and set up HApp on your devices

For Android go to Google Play Store, for Apple iOS go to App Store and install the app HApp by Burti. When asked for Server ID, enter the one we’ve provided - this will configure HApp to connect to your server. Happy HApping!
