There are multiple steps involved in setting up Burti Document Form Editor:
Preparation
- Make sure your Standard ERP server is accessible via web port e.g. yourserver.yourdomain.com:8080
- Send us the IP address/hostname and web port as well as precise version number and build e.g. 8.3 2017-02-24
- We will add your server to the supported server list with appropriate access rights so only user from your company may access document forms on your server
- We will add to your code or send you instructions on how to add a necessary code package called DOC.hob
Setup on the server
- Deploy the DOC.hob file either directly from GIT repository or manually
- copy DOC.hob it in the HOBCUST folder
- adjust datadef.hal so it executes the added datadefJSON.hal and datadefDOC.hal files
- Restart the server and run Technics >> Report >> Export/Import formats for register JSON_REGDEFVC
- If you get the result that you have the register - setup is correct and you should import the attached file IMPORT-ON-SERVER.TXT to open the needed API access points
- Restart the server again
Using the editor
Navigate your Chrome browser to https://burti.lv/doc-form-editor/ and try to log in with the same user you are using for other Burti systems such as Service Desk. After logging in your should get this kind of interface
- Under Server you should have a selection of one or more of your servers that you agreed to connect this editor to e.g. live and test server
- After selecting the server you should be able to select the company you wish to edit forms from. In case this is not working - something is wrong with the setup so please contact us for help
- After selecting company you should get a list of Document Forms from this company and selecting one and pressing LOAD should populate it's fields in the white area on the right hand side
- You can then switch between pages, change parameters, add fields and other features you need to editing the form similarly to what the build in editor supports
- Pressing SAVE should save the changes on the server and you should be able to see the changes when printing the appropriate document
