DateCompare
Returns -1 if first date is less than second date, 1 if first date is greater than second date, and 0 if dates are equal..
Syntax
DateCompare(date, date_to_compare)
Arguments
date | MDX expression that returns date |
---|---|
date_to_compare | MDX expression that returns date |
You can use also a string expression, that can be parsed with DateParse, as any date argument.
Examples
DateCompare( [Invoice].CurrentMember.getProperty('Invoice date'), [Time].CurrentHierarchyMember.StartDate )
The formula will return -1 if an Invoice is created before selected time period, 0 if an Invoice is created on the first date of the selected time period, and 1 if an Invoice is created after the selected time period.
